Lemon Yellow was born from a shared passion for food, culture, and bringing people together. Founded by Tahidi and Cris, this venture is more than just a restaurant—it’s a tribute to our roots, our families, and the flavors that shaped us.
With recipes inspired by our parents and childhood memories, we set out to create a space where Venezuelan flavors and South American-Caribbean desserts could be enjoyed by everyone. Our mission is to bring comfort, nostalgia, and a taste of home to those who grew up with these flavors while also introducing them to new audiences in East Texas.

AREPAS
A tradicional Venezuelan cornmeal patties, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They can be fried or grilled and are stuffed with a variety of delicious fillings, they are the perfect handheld confort food!
LEMON CRUMB BARS
Buttery, crumbly shortbread crust topped with a luscious, tangy lemon filling. The perfect balance of of sweet and citrusy in every bite!
TEQUEÑOS
Crispy, golden cheese sticks wrapped in a delicate dough, fried to perfetcion. A must-try Venezuelan classic that´s crunchy on the outside and irresistibly cheesy on the inside!
EMPANADAS
Crispy, golden turnovers filled with savory goodness. A perfect balance of crunch and flavor, made to satisfy every craving!
I had the Cachapa at Lemon Yellow, and WOW! The sweet, golden corn pancake was perfectly soft and packed with flavor. The melted cheese inside made every bite even more delicious. It was fresh, comforting, and took me straight to Venezuela with its authentic taste. If you haven´t tried it yet, rou are seriously missing out! I can´t wait to have it again!

I ordered the pabellón criollo and it was delicious! Enough to share (but I didn’t want to!!). Such friendly service, too. The alfajores were amazing as well. I can’t wait to try more!
